Answered Prayers for Sue

Thanks for your prayers for Sue, who was struggling with cancer. She has gone Home.

Here is an excerpt from a letter from her family:

It is with sadness, peace, and joy that we tell you Sue passed away Sunday night, on the feast of Christ the King, November 23, 2008, at 10:00 PM. Sadness in that we will all miss her dearly, peace that she is no longer suffering, and joy that she is smiling down on us from heaven.

May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

Please Pray for Kathy

Please pray for Kathy Hashimoto today. Kathy is a homeschooling mom of 2 beautiful girls (ages about 9 and 11). She has a rare form of cancer and 2 very sick kidneys, and is undergoing dialysis.

Today, some homeschooling mothers will be praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet in her home. We are also praying the novena prayer to Blessed Mother Marianne Cope in the hope that she will receive the next miracle that will approve Mother Marianne's canonization.

PLEASE join us in spirit by praying for her complete healing. If you have the devotion to the Divine Mercy, please include her in your intentions.

Prayer Request for Mr. L.

Please pray for our family friend. He has been diagnosed with lung cancer and brain cancer. I told my friend, his wife, that my prayer warriors are praying for him and his family.

Praying for Safe Travel

Please send prayers that my daughter and I have a safe journey this Thanksgiving Holiday to Marietta, Ga. and a safe return home. We will leave NY on Thursday morning to Atlanta and return home to NY on Monday evening. I ask for prayers for safe air and land travel! God Speed!

A Prayer of Thanks

The reason I wanted to start this blog was as a place where people could not only post prayer requests but give recognition of prayers answered. To that end I suppose I've been a little lax.

Because a prayer of mine has been answered. This was the kind of prayer though that was more like a dream that I kind of would hope maybe God could help along a bit. And he did.

For nearly as long as I can remember I've wanted to be a published author. Last month I got my first publishing contract. So my dream is coming true, my prayer has been answered. In the spring of 2009 my young adult romance novel When Mike Kissed Emma will be published by Wild Rose Press. That's the official book cover there, by the way.

So, thanks God - for a dream come true!

Please pray for Sue, a Catholic pro-life activist, who has been struggling with breast cancer for a year and half. She is also currently suffering from a painful impaction on her intestines. Please pray for restoration to good health. Thank you!

Prayer Request for a Young Girl Seeking Abortion

Please pray for a 16 year old who is seeking an abortion in the next week. She is the grandaughter of a friend of mine. Please join me in praying for a change of heart for this young girl, for her to be open to life and the possiblities of adoption.
