Pray for the People of Haiti - and my brother

My brother, Pete, works at the embassy in Port au Prince, Haiti. Apparently there was a lot of rioting there today.

This is the message I got from my mother:
Peter is ok. Our government may send people from the embassy home but Peter would be one of the last to go. The people of Haiti are very poor and food prices have risen 50% in the past year. There's a lot of corruption. Most people are illiterate and believe any rumor. They believe their government is paying the UN. There was rioting at the UN building there the other day, but today was Port au Prince. So please say some prayers for the situation and the safety of everyone - especially Pete. I'll let you know when I learn more. Mom
