Please pray that God grants me a sincere reconciliation with the man I love. Nothing is impossible to God. May he remove the obstacles in our path and help my friend see the depth of my love for him. Holy Mary, pray that he grows in understanding, compassion, and maturity so we can build a future in hope, faith, and love.

Prayer for Pastor

This prayer request is for the pastor of my daughter's parish school. He is a Catholic convert from the Baptist faith and is a tremendous gift to us! He brings to his preaching a solid knowledge of Church teaching infused with a love and deep understanding of Sacred Scripture.

Here is the email I received with the news today:

It was announced today at mass that Father had a blood clot in his brain and surgery was successful. He is at Provena St. Joe's in Joliet in the ICU unit. I know that mom has told people that he cannot have any flowers or any gifts. Cards can be sent to St. Peter's rectory and those will be given to him by another priest.

Please pray for this holy man of God.

After much "domestic and international pressure", according to the British newspaper The Telegraph, a Romanian government panel has approved the abortion of an unborn child at more than 20 weeks gestation, despite the prohibition against abortions after 14 weeks.

Hemophiliac Needs Our Prayers!

This was just sent to me from a dear mom in our parish mom's group:

Hi all! I have an urgent prayer request. I know what wonderful people you are and I am asking you all to please keep this man in your prayers. His name is Bob T and he is at Provena Mercy in the ICU in critical condition. He is a hemophilliac(sorry for the misspelling). Blood is basically coming out of his body from a few different areas. He is getting blood transfusions but it isn't helping much. I know the power of prayer. I thank you all for taking the time. Take care all and God bless!

Pray for Reconciliation

My name is Maria. I love a man whose heart seems to have distanced himself from my children and me. I ache for our reconciliation. We have been apart for over a half year. I feel he may have met someone else and only calls me as an obligation. I long for our monogamous and exclusive relationship to come back. I beg for your prayers and those of our Lord and Saints. Please pray for his heart to find his way back to us and marry. I love him so much. My children love him just as much. Please rekindle his heart and bring him back.

Pray for Help with a Relationship

Thank you for your powerful and moving stories that the power of prayer does, indeed, work. I am beseeching your help for prayer. I am in a similar situation in a relationship that I long for reconciliation. I want it so badly that I am having anxiety attacks. This man is perfect for my boys and me and I would want nothing more than for us to put our differences aside, compromise, and commit to each other. I know that prayer in number is extraordinarily powerful. So, I beseech your help.

Lord, we ask that your will be done, and that in the fullness of time what is right for this woman and her family will occur.

Pray for Heidi

Am asking for prayers for a young lady who over a year ago was diagnosed with breast cancer after the delivery of her first child. Her name is Heidi. I found out today that she has had an abnormal PAP that suggests she may again have cancer.Thank you so much, I thought of you as I read about another young mother who has the same diagnosis of breast cancer and she just delivered her first as well. (Our God Is an Awesome God).

Prayer Request for Sandy P. - Update

My husband informed me that Sandy passed away on Thursday.
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and may Your perpetual light shine upon him.
May Sandy rest in peace.

I am truly going to miss this gentle man.



Update from my husband: Sandy is close to death. Please pray for him during his last hours on earth. Even though he is Jewish, I think he would be touched to know that we are praying for him.

He is our elderly neighbor and he has suffered stroke.
