Please pray without ceasing!

Ladies ~ A neighbor of ours, her name was Roxanne, was killed Saturday afternoon while she was out shopping with two of her children.
They were standing at the back of the car, putting away groceries, and an elderly woman across the way was backing out, panicked when she saw them, and stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal by mistake, hitting Roxanne and pinning her between the two cars!
Then, trying to move away (I guess) she drove forward, dragging her along, hitting two more parked cars and a pole, before she finally stopped!!!
Poor Roxanne's last act on this earth was to push the children away so they would not be hit.
She and her husband Steve had five children and the family is, needless to say, completely devastated.
Please keep them all in your prayers, that Our Lord and His Blessed Mother will remain with them (I don't believe they are Catholic) and comfort them in the nightmare of days ahead...her funeral is today and then the family will have to find a way to go forward without her.
They were on our local news yesterday...the truck was parked outside the house for over an hour, and the reporters also went to the store and talked to witnesses, also to the police.
This event has sickened the entire neighborhood and I don't believe Steve will be without support for a long time to come, but that doesn't bring his beloved Roxanne back...I feel so awful for them; please pray without ceasing!!!
Thank-you very much and God bless us, everyone!

Thank-you both very much...and, Easter, your lily is perfect to remind me that when our daughter called to order flowers for the family, the florist recommended white lilies...so fitting for a sign of new life during this Easter Season, eh?
I feel so badly for this family...
